Our client is a growing manufacturing company that is currently looking for a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. Depending on years of experience, this position could be either a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst level!

The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a mix of financial reporting and other analytical projects and provide that information to business leaders.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will assist in developing, modifying, and maintaining financial models to generate long-term forecasts or analysis.

  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

  • Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, and business forecasts.

  • Analysis of performance and reporting results to financial and operations management including job cost variances, capital spending, and inventory levels.

  • Monitor labor and inventory transactions, daily and monthly, to assure data accuracy.

  • Assist with budget preparation, fixed assets, profitability analysis, and other related special projects.

  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

  • The ability to analyze and interpret, and to communicate cost and expense variances to management is key to the success of this position.

  • The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED




  • The Financial Analyst will have 2+ years’ relevant experience. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a minimum 4 years’ experience. Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

  • Strong analytic/data analysis and modeling skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.  Experience with ERP systems preferred.

  • The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
