Financial Analyst – high-end manufacturing company

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an award-winning manufacturer near midtown Atlanta.  They are looking to add to the Finance and Accounting team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

  • The Financial Analyst will be responsible for driving optimal business practices in a variety of accounting and analysis capacities

Requirements

Overview of the Financial Analyst role:


  • Prepare P&L projections and forecasts, ratio analysis, cost analysis, and various scenario planning

  • Assist with month-end close process by preparing and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing financial reports

  • Create financial reports for forecasting and trend analysis

  • Develop, monitor, and report out on business KPIs related to price, volume, etc

  • Assist with both short-term and long-range financial planning

  • Provide audit support and schedule

  • Various ad hoc tasks as assigned


Preferred Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 4+ years related experience

  • Experience with cost accounting and manufacturing

  • Strong Excel

  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
