As the Financial Analyst, you will administer daily support to the accounting and finance departments as well as execute routine assignments and solve routine/standard problems with limited discretion. Please email a word document version of your resume to : [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Major responsibilities of the Financial Analyst: - Play a part in the groundwork of monthly financial reporting and other business data - Study veritable results at the corporate and division levels - Review and query a sizable amounts of data - Capable of assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits - Very likely have to describe hard financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects - Integrate and check budgets and income statement forecasts - Assist in various aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis) - Assist in ensuring adequate controls and procedures - Help out with monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements - Assist in annual budgeting process - Devise unique alternatives and solutions to reduce costs and elevate financial performance of a company

Requirements

- Less than one year of experience is acceptable - Applicant must be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing - Ability to work independently with minimal oversight - High attention to detail - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Microsoft Excel experience - Knowledge of Excel VBA - Solid understanding of Excel Formulas Contact us today if you are available to start promptly and meet all the qualifications. .
