Job Description:


Primary Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the provision of re-occurring and ad-hoc management information in relation to each entity/operation/project under control
  • Assist the Finance Director in monthly Financial Reporting relating to margin, labor and overhead elements of the Profit and Loss as well as the working capital from the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Ensure all monthly accounting activities are accurately processed on time
  • Assisting the Finance Director to oversee company relationship with banks to ensure all funding is executed in line with treasury guidelines
  • Calculating and providing ongoing planning and forecasting reports
  • Assisting and overseeing balance sheet management process (including working capital) by monitoring the balances against budget, understanding the drivers of capital of working capital from one period to another, and implementing initiatives to minimize working capital requirement
  • Assist in the completion of all relevant local tax and statutory requirements
  • Manage and oversee exportation documentation and processes
  • Coordinate SAP implementation and processes
  • Provide relevant reporting and updates on the inventories as maintained and recorded within SAP and ARM's system. Coordinating and reconciling stock counts for inventories as required
  • To supervise annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required deadlines
  • Developing finance and accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency - including customer and supplier contracts, purchase orders, credit control and ensuring timely invoicing by suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree and additional accounting designation preferred
  • Management experience require
  • Ability to guide a team through month-end closing
  • Ability to compile and present financial reporting to Executive team
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP highly preferred
  • Experience with guiding accounting procedures and making process improvement

Performance Expectations:

Must be able to act as Finance Director's deputy in his absence
