ERP Business Analyst

This is a highly visible role within the IT department and has direct influence on strategic business decisions through the utilization of business intelligence tools, ERP/MIS/IT systems, process improvement, and collaboration with business unit stakeholders. You will be leading the utilization and management of business analytics to direct key business decisions. You will be working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing recommendations for utilization within the business intelligence and analytics space. This has tremendous growth potential into further leadership opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS ANALYST

ERP Analysis usage, process, procedure improvements

Analysis of trends, complex systems, inventory, operations making recommendations for changes based upon results

Reporting and analysis for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

SME of Information/ERP system(s), providing detailed reports and advising business units for utilization of systems

Implementing processes and procedures, through ERP system programming, with the collaboration of key business stakeholders

Presentation and reporting to Executive Leadership Team

Ad hoc projects performing analysis for complex financial actions preparing policy, control, or action revisions

Report generation for evaluating KPIs on a weekly, monthly and annual basis

Recommending cost saving initiatives to management focused on systems usage and utilization

Research projects for all levels of leadership regarding government regulations, investment opportunities, capital projects, and investment performance

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS ANALYST

Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Computer Science, MIS, or related field

5+ years of working experience in Operations, IT, or Financial Systems Analysis

2+ years of Business Intelligence tool utilization and experience

Exceptional presentation and communication skills with presentations to Executive Leadership/Board of Directors

Advanced ERP/MIS knowledge and utilization experience Oracle Preferred

Strong analytical mindset ability to research, gather, and process key financial/operations information
