Accounting Now is now recruiting for a Customer Service/Purchasing associate:
Cross functional role working with both customer service and purchasing department. This individual will ensure timely and accurate information flow between customers and company as well as suppliers and company. The over all goal is to improve communication and delivery to customers, and help manage suppliers. Customer interaction includes but is not limited to order acknowledgements, date management, quoting of standard product, quote followup, pricing analysis, data mining and overall relationship building.
Supplier interaction includes but is not limited to organizing quote packages, soliciting quotes, cost comparisons, cost negotiations, date management, purchase order follow up and records maintenance. It is expected that this individual will manage their time effectively in order to accomplish these responsibilities.
- Past experience should be 3-5 years working in manufacturing environment as planner, scheduler, purchasing or customer service managing house accounts.
- Must be computer literate with strong demonstrated working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, NAV Dynamics (operating system) or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person and over the phone, be a self starter and perform in a cross functional environment.
- AA in technical field, purchasing or supply chain certification or equivalent experience preferred.
