Robert Half Finance is searching for a determined Controller who is eager to contribute their skill to a distinguished Service company. This is a leadership role with responsibility over an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, you will be planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. For consideration for this role, please send your resume directly to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Key responsibilities - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis - Ensure deliverables of self and team meet client expectations - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management - Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

Requirements

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Detailed and have the ability work independently - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) - Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued Please send your resume directly to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
