Based in the Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania area, this opening for a Controller/Accounting Manager is a full-time position. How you will make an impact - Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month - Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll - Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed - Review deliverables of self and team to align with client expectations - Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques - Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis - Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis - Flexible in completing tasks beyond formal job responsibilities - Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash - Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation

Requirements

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Adeptness in budget forecasting - Cash Flow Analysis experience - Deep understanding of compliance - General familiarity with Expense Analysis - Controllership Functions experience - Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting - Knowledge of Financial Management - Bonus Commision experience - Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills - Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Past work in technology, analytics and management experience highly valued - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Please reach out to Brad Fay today - [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] and reference JO#03710-0011642081.
