The Production Centralized Disclosure Desk (CDD) Generalist will be responsible for facilitating document fulfillment for mortgage production.
Responsibilities include:
- Administrator for DocuSign to include the manual distribution of packages and reporting
- Reviews processing, underwriting, and title documents for proper completion
- Review and prepare disclosure packages for compliance with state and investor disclosure requirements and escalate findings to management, compliance and legal teams
- Corresponds with title companies, government agencies, branches, and other departments in writing or by telephone to answer questions and solve problems relating to loans closing
- Closing duties include: reviewing commitment, tax certificates, Preliminary Closing Sheets, lock information, and other requirements for closing; reviewing/finalizing LE/CD
- Performs mathematical calculations relating to principal, interest, and other amounts in checking and verifying document computations
- Compiles information from loan file; to prepare disclosure and initial closing disclosure
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years Mortgage experience in Processing, Closing, Quality Control, or Post Closing
- Knowledge of basic office procedure
- Basic knowledge of fundamentals of mortgage lending process
- Basic knowledge of underwriting guidelines and most current guidelines and requirements of government and private market mortgage investors as they relate to 10 key by touch
- Advanced organizational skills, including the ability to plan work activities and stay on schedule
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing
- Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced working environment
- Strong basic math and accounting skills
- Strong proof reading/auditing skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Functional knowledge of basic office machines
