A rare opening with a well-respected wealth management firm in Spokane is looking for a CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER! Job Summary includes, but not limited to: Client Relationship Managers are the primary executive of the client relationship and are the most experienced advisors in the firm. This position has responsibility for managing existing client relationships, formulating and implementing investment advice, and be a conduit to the technical specialists within our firm. Relationship managers are also expected to develop new client relationships and often work with other staff in client service delivery. (Note that position titles vary among firms; this position is also known as Wealth Manager, Investment Advisor, Financial Advisor, Financial Planner and Portfolio Manager.) Duties and Responsibilities Relationship Managers can expect to focus their work in the following areas: ? Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications ? Client service, including financial planning updates, investment portfolio changes and reviews, performance discussions, client education, identification of new client opportunities ? Client asset management, including coordination of complete financial planning and wealth management, cash flow analysis, estate planning, tax strategies, money accumulation plans, retirement plans, college savings plans The Relationship Manager position typically requires the following qualifications: ? Minimum 3-5 years? experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships. Education and industry training may substitute for experience. ? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in finance/accounting or business. ? Preferred securities licensure (e.g., Series 7, 65, 63 etc.) ? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as financial planning ? Financial planning, retirement planning, wealth management acumen, judgment and experience ? Technical expertise in qualified retirement plans desirable ? Knowledge of CRM software, performance management software ? Client centric commitment, strong customer service background, excellent communications and listening skills ? A team player with leadership skills, self-motivated ? Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment in our community ? Successful candidate will have the ability to organize and prioritize client load Salary and Benefits Pay/benefits are competitive based on industry standards. ?
