Our client is a growing non-profit agency, located in Rocky Hill, with an unwavering dedication to building successful futures for children in the community. They are looking to add a member to their team in the position of Bookkeeper who will report directly into the Controller.  The Controller is a compassionate leader with extensive experience. A person who enjoys making a difference and has a passion for non-profit will fit in perfectly with this team.

Requirements

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:



•         The Bookkeeper is responsible for biweekly payroll including entering hours into the system



•         Enter new hires and terminations into the system



•         Process 403B payments



•         The Bookkeeper is responsible for calculating PTO accruals



•         Assisting in Accounts Payable, including but not limited to coding invoices and entering invoices into the system



•         Assisting with Accounts Receivable when needed




Qualifications of the Bookkeeper:



•         Experience processing payroll



•         AP/AR experience a plus




•         Keen attention to detail
