Our client in the DC area is looking for a Bookkeeper to join a successful publishing company on a contract to hire basis.
Job Responsibilities for Bookkeeper:
- Record day to day financial transactions
- Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports.
- Process accounts receivable and payable.
Required Skills for Bookkeeper:
- At least two years bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping software, QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
