Our client is a modern, well established, small manufacturing company, well known and respected in our industry.  They have successfully been in business for over 65 years.


This position is a very important and integral part of the company.



Job Duties to include:


Full Charge Bookkeeping Duties to include:  A/P, A/R & GL


Routine GL entries


Bank Reconciliation


Purchasing and all related tasks


Sales/Use tax reporting


Inventory - monthly adjustments/reconciliation


Month End/Year End close processing


Maintain Fixed Assets


Expense Reports Processing


Insurance maintenance-Health/Gen Liability/Workers Comp


Payroll processing - via Paychex


All HR duties including but not limited to: Vacation tracking, compensation and 401K


Extensive use of Excel spreadsheets for management of data and information in all areas of the job


Work closely with CPA/Accounting firm at physical year end which is September 30th


Management of office staff & procedures in coordination with production management & staff


Use of EPR Manufacturing Software, Microsoft, Adobe, Canon products which are in full use throughout the facility




Requirements:


5+ years of Bookkeeping, General Accounting and Office Management Experience


Previous experience in small business office management


Proficient with the Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook 


Strong computer literacy to learn new manufacturing software


An individual who is trustworthy, dependable, and confident in their knowledge, experience, and skills


Someone who is detailed oriented and has strong organizational skills


Someone who exhibits maturity, and leads others with a positive attitude, and initiative


Someone who has discretion in managing confidential information


Able to competently operate in a modern office, technology oriented, manufacturing facility




This client has 25 employees, 7 of them in the office 


A complete and competitive package Includes:  health insurance, paid vacation/holiday/sick leave, and 401(k) retirement plan, and AFLAC


After one year of continuous employment: Eligible for paid vacation time off and the ability to participate in our 401(k) plan
