Banking Business Analyst

TEKsystems is partnering with a large enterprise client in the northern suburbs in search of a banking business analyst.

Rate will vary based on experience. Candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area. Must work W2 NO C2C.

Fraud Operational Strategy is seeking a highly motivated project manager, who will be involved in operational initiatives for First Party Fraud and Credit Bust Out.

This person will collaborate closely with operations and strategy teams to deliver critical fraud initiative in 2020.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Take a leadership role in designing, documenting, and implementing critical call center operation processes for Card Fraud and Authorization by working with multiple business partners.
  • Understand current process, create process flows and work with cross functional teams to create procedures and get stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyze data to provide high level overview of results.
  • Champion efforts to attain product vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders and partners to uphold business priority and vision.
  • Participate in mandatory forums and cross functional huddles.
  • Provide periodic status updates to business stakeholders and upper management.

This position will be responsible for improving the day-to-day fraud servicing process.

This includes fraud detection strategies, queues, processes and procedures.

The position will work closely with HQ and field staff to conceive, research, and test new fraud strategies.

The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating new and existing processes, continually testing and monitoring performance, and recommending changes.

This individual will problem-solve with the team to improve business processes, use analytic tools to analyze fraud performance, respond to inquiries regarding fraud procedures and policies, and work with the Investigations team to improve their understanding and usage of strategies.

Skills Required:

Bachelors degree and 5+ years of project management and/or analytical experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Agility to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Hard-working and detail-oriented go-getter.

Skills Desired:

Analytic experience in the financial services industry in either a risk management or fraud prevention environment.

Leadership Responsibilities:
May lead cross-functional teams or projects.

Decision Making:
Latitude for independent judgment and decision making within defined guidelines.

Gathers information, consults those who need to be involved, and puts decisions into action.

Considers the implications of options when making a difficult decision.

Amount of Supervision:
Works independently with guidance when necessary.

Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
