About the CompanyOur client is a leading public accounting firm and they're looking to hire an Audit Manager. This firm has clients across 10+ different states and is continuing to expand. This firm has recently acquired two large clients locally, so this position has been created due to growth. This firm has been steadily growing over the last five years and will continue to do so. This person will be able to come in and be on track to have the opportunity to be made Partner in the future, as the current Partners with this firm are all early on in their careers.

Salary: $100k

Audit Manager Responsibilities



  • Handle all aspects of auditing for labor unions and nonprofit organization clients

  • Focus on financial statement review on employee benefit plans

  • Manage the auditing of employee benefit plans

  • Manage 3-5 people on the audit staff

  • Service clients across the MD, DC, VA area

  • Develop relationships with clients





Audit Manager Requirements



  • Active CPA

  • Bachelor's in Accounting

  • 7+ years of relevant audit experience

  • Labor union or nonprofit industry experience required

  • Employee benefit plan auditing experience is a plus
