Responsible for U.S. corporate tax research, planning, audits and compliance for designated domestic entities (and any controlled foreign corporations), ensuring that the companies are in compliance with all Federal, state and local tax laws. 

Also responsible for meeting all tax accounting related financial reporting obligations in accordance with BI Accounting Guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities\:

  • Responsible for Federal and state/local tax compliance for assigned U.S. entities and their CFC's,including Federal Corporate Income Tax Returns(including disclosure statements)and state and local income and franchise tax returns, utilizing OneSource. Includes estimated tax process, reconciling tax depreciation information from Accounting Dept., etc.

  • Perform regular tax research addressing a multitude of complex Federal and state tax inquiries on ad hoc basis. 

    Engage in proactive tax planning initiatives aimed at creating more tax efficient structures and processes.

  • Responsible for real and personal property tax compliance for designated U.S. corporations, as well as satisfactory resolution of any applicable property tax audits.

  • Responsible for tax reporting and tax accounting processes for designated entities, including tax provisions, deferred tax analyses, tax liability accounts and effective tax rate analyses, utilizing OneSource Provision and WTS software.

  • Responsible for managing Federal and state/local income tax audits initiated by the IRS and the various state and local tax authorities for assigned entities and/or states.

Requirements\:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field from an accredited institution required. 

    Advanced degree such as Masters in Tax, MBA, JD, LLM or CPA from an accredited institution preferred.

  • Working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and tax compliance requirements is a must. Experience with accounting for income taxes preferred.

  • Five (5) or more years of general tax experience required, with at least three (3) years of Federal and state/local taxation with a Big 4 Accounting Firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company.


  • Excellent research skills and strong verbal and writing proficiency also required, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.


  • Familiarity with SAP preferred, as is experience in OneSource and tax research software.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Eligibility Requirements\:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
