Accounting Manager

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a leading national energy company to identify an Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position that is open due to growth.




Highlights of the Opportunity:


  • Founded nearly 25 years ago by some of the most trusted/respected professionals in the industry.

  • In the past 2 years the company has grown considerably acquiring 3 companies.

  • This is a newly created position that will support all of the accounting, reporting and inventory for one of their plants.

  • Highly entrepreneurial environment that offers visibility, credibility, challenge and growth.

  • Offers 100% of paid medical and dental and covers the cost of the Commuter Rail or T.





Qualifications:


  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or Equivalent

  • 5+ years of hands on day-to-day accounting experience leading the close.

  • Inventory experience is highly preferred

  • QuickBooks experience is required






Requirements

The Accounting Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Lead in the development and execution of all accounting, reporting and cost analysis

  • Responsible for month end accounting close ensuring compliance with GAAP

  • Ensures efficient monthly closing procedures and documents accounting policies and procedures

  • Prepares periodic general ledger reconciliations and account analysis accurately and timely

  • Maintains fixed asset and depreciation schedules

  • Plan and lead physical inventories
