Establish and maintain the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
Provide guidance to ensure that needed internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets.
Enforce adherence to control requirements while supporting the implementation and maintenance of systems, policies, and procedures.
Direct and/or perform accounting functions to assure accurate reporting of company results.
Daily cash and working capital management oversight
Provide prompt feedback of financial information and recommendations for improvement to the CFO to optimize results and minimize unfavorable trends.
Accelerate monthly financial close to ensure timely and accurate financial information and records.
Provide scheduled and ad hoc financial and management reports.
Ownership of GL, chart of accounts, fixed asset management, and all account reconciliations.
Management of all settlement, accounts payable, payroll, and cash management activities.
Manage the month-end close process by reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support and manage annual financial and 401(k) audits.
Oversight of compliance reporting vendor loan agreements.
Hire, manage, and develop accounting staff as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting as well as Masters Degree required.
Experience working effectively in a team environment; well-organized, highly motivated, and disciplined.
Strong critical and strategic thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving, people management skills, and ability to interact well with people across multiple levels of a business.
