About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a government contractor that is rapidly growing


• Opportunity to work with highly experienced team in the DOD contracting industry


• Our client needs additional accounting support due to the current workload


• Position will be 100% remote during the pandemic

Responsibilities:

• Assist with closing the books


• Responsible for account reconciliations


• Working with the teams of companies that have been acquired


• Position will manage accounting processes but not accounting staff


• Providing audit support (audit firm is coming in March)

Requirements:

• US Citizen required


• 7-10+ years of govt contracting or public accounting experience


• Unanet is current system - companies acquired are not yet on it and they're in a period of transition. Unanet is a nice to have but NOT required


• Clearance NOT required


• CPA preferred but NOT required

Personality Fit:

• Must be able to self-manage work


• Comfortable working remotely and reaching out to teammates proactively in a remote work setting


• Team player


• Clear communication skills

Pay: $48/hour - $55/hour
