Accounting/HR Assistant

Description

The CSI Companies, a leading National staffing agency is currently hiring for an AP/HR Assistant to support one of our clients in the Spring Hill area. This person must have great communication skills and be flexible to ever changing needs. CSIORL


Finance/Accounts Payable:

  • Accounts payable, end to end process from entering transactions to cutting the checks/eft’s
  • Check requests, including getting necessary approvals from various department heads
  • Purchasing - receiving needs from various departments and placing orders.
  • Bank reconciliations (using automated software)
  • Timely and accurate reconciliation of expense and bank accounts
  • Entering credit card transactions and reconciling to expense reports (semi-automated process)
  • Entering journal entries into the Great Plains general ledger
  • Maintaining and updating vendor data in Great Plains.
  • Review of commission and preparation of commission analysis reports
  • Expense analysis
  • Entering budgets into Great Plains, ensuring that budgeted amounts are not exceeded
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Essential Skills:

  • Great Plains (Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Smartlist, Management Reporter)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, graphics)

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Answering employee questions
  • Creating and distributing documents
  • Filing
  • Assisting with New hires – including orientation and testing
  • Overseeing employee files
  • Other duties as assigned.

General Skills needed:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel (Pivot Tables, Graphics), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Adobe Pro
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate and work with all levels of the organization as well as external clients/vendors
  • Ability to take direction, research projects and work independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and strong attention to detail with follow-through
  • Must be available for occasional travel in the local area
