Robert Half is looking for an Accounting/HR Assistant to support the General Manager in the hospitality industry with all accounting and human resources related operations. The Accounting/HR Assistant will be responsible for: Overseeing general accounting functions in areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll and compliance. ? Coding accounts payable invoices in the accounting system. ? Processing and applying charges, payments and refunds. ? Running aging reports and calling on accounts 30+ days past due. ? Preparing and mailing out bills/invoices in a timely manner. ? Managing deposits, bank reconciliations and inventory of cash. ? Preparing and analyzing financial reports, statements and audits. ? Ensuring each department has entered payroll before submitting on a bi-weekly basis. ? Communicating updates and reminders to appropriate parties. ? Researching discrepancies and partnering with Corporate Accounting Team and Auditors to reconcile any issues. ? Additional tasks ask assigned by the General Manager, Corporate Accounting Team, and Auditor. Overseeing general human resources functions in areas of onboarding, benefits, employee relations, payroll and compliance. ? Processing new hire paperwork, administering benefits, managing personnel files and assisting in answering any new hire related questions. ? Partnering with the General Manager in renewing insurance and processing workers compensation. ? Acting as a liaison between Corporate HR Department and employees and communicating HR related changes, updates or requests. ? Partnering with the General Manager and Corporate HR Department on employee relations, leaves of absence, performance reviews and any other employee related matters. ? Additional tasks ask assigned by the General Manager and Corporate HR Department.
