Staff Accountant - Hybrid in DC
Staff Accountant - Hybrid in DC
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a long standing non-for-profit organization in Washington, DC!
- Due to a medical leave, they are hiring an Staff Accountant in their DC office!
- Position is hybrid (3 in, 2 out)
- Pay: $30-34 per hour, Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p.
- Duration: Contract-to-Hire
- Some of the employee reviews, include things like:

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:
- Full-cycle AP - domestic and international payments
- Processing 20-40 invoices a week
- Complex matching process
- Oversee an AP Inbox
- Account reconciliations and JE's
- Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- 2-4 years of Staff Accountant experience
- Serenic Nav experience is a plus
- Non-profit experience is a must
- Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
