What you will be doing as a Staff Accountant…
- Perform day-to-day financial tasks
- Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial information and compliance
- Handle sales tax return filings
- Manage pension accounting
- Conduct sweeping balances from departmental checking accounts
- Perform reconciliations
- Deposit cash and checks received by departments
- Post journal entries
- Analyze financial data
- Prepare financial reports, audits, budgeting, and forecasting
- Perform other accounting duties as directed
What you need to bring to the table as a Staff Accountant….
- 3+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA motivated
- Non-profit experience is a plus
